Hi, I’m Leisa! With over 15 years of experience as a nurse and more than two decades in the healthcare and mental wellness field, I’ve had the privilege of caring for people of all ages through some of life’s most challenging and meaningful moments.
I hold a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Creighton University and have spent my career supporting individuals and families with medically complex needs, as well as those navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a deep belief in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
I’m passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered in their health and healing journey. Whether it’s through education, guidance, or simply holding space for someone’s story, my goal is always to bring warmth, understanding, and a sense of calm to the work I do.
Medication can be an effective part of mental health treatment for many people. It may reduce symptom intensity—like anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, or mood instability—so you can better engage in therapy and daily life. Medication decisions are personal and should be made with a qualified prescriber, with ongoing monitoring and collaboration. We support informed choice and coordinated care.
