Serein (rhymes with Erin) has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University.
Serein helps people find balance and works with clients to minimize the impact of anxiety and depression. She especially enjoys working with adolescents and women, and supports them in exploring their history and uncovering patterns so they can begin to have more control of their emotions and their life. Serein sees clients in office, telehealth, and in Albany Schools.
Those closest to her know Serein as a mom of two young children, a lover of animals and traveling, and an ardent extrovert who is happiest in nature or with her nose in a book. She has personal experience as a foster and adoptive mom.
April is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker (LICSW) who has been providing mental health services to adults, children, families, and groups across the lifespan with a variety of needs for over 10 years. April graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2004 with her Bachelors Degree in Social Work and in 2011 received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. April is skilled in treating a variety of mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Providing Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and working with children or families involved in complex trauma are areas of special interest for April. April believes in a client centered approach to treatment including meeting the client where they are at and working towards the goals they identify. April believes in the philosophy that therapy should be client driven and directed. Outside of work April enjoys crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
Katie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University.
Katie has extensive experience working in the field of early childhood, and in both outpatient and day treatment programs. She enjoys working with adults, families, and young children (0-13). Her clinical areas of interest include: attachment, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem concerns. Katie is trained in Theraplay, Experiential Play Therapy, AutPlay, and Jungian Sandtray therapy, and is currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
In her freetime, Katie enjoys being a mom, making pottery, camping, reading, gardening, and playing with her dog.
